It is still really cold in the northeast. That didn't stop Ellie Jane and I from getting started planting in the basement. We got some great heirloom purple tomato seeds, patio tomatoes, pimentos and cayenne peppers from one of soccer players parents. Thanks Dave! We tried something different this year and used Christmas light under the flats to keep them warm. Garlic broke ground a couple weeks ago and it looks like we have about 40 heads going. Yay.
